Is it your testimony, sir, that Jeremy Frazier in that time period never operated that vehicle," prosecutor Robert Welsh asked Frazier."That is in fact my testimony," Frazier said.Cross examining Frazier, George asked if he had worked as a police officer in Truro. Frazier said he was a dispatcher and police officer for "approximately two years" and a full-time patrolman for "little over a year" before starting his business in 1990.Frazier said he began operating his business out of Wellfleet in 1993 and one of three bays he rents at the site was rented in 2002 to his brother, Michael Frazier, Jeremy's brother, and owner of a landscaping business. His brother kept a dump truck, pickup, Bobcat, trailer and other equipment in the rented bay in 2002, Frazier said. Asked the color of the dump truck and pickup, Frazier said both were black.Frazier said he was also driving a pickup in 2002, a 1996 Ford F250 with a black cab and a "very bright blue" body on the back with multiple doors, a style of truck often used by electricians.Any one of your trucks, George asked, "had no business, meaning professional business, up in the area of 40 Depot Road on Jan.
Little Fiat sexiest car ever
Top Gear magazine has voted the humble Fiat 500, which looks like a cross between a Mini and a VW Beetle, No 1 for setting pulses racing. It tops a list of 100 sexiest cars because the mag claims anyone behind the wheel looks sexually charged ? even a nun. Contributing editor James May defended the bizarre choice yesterday, saying: The Fiat 500 advertises nothing about its owner, except that its someone who doesnt need to try. Top Gears top ten sexiest cars: 1. Fiat 500; 2. Aston Martin DBS; 3. Maserati Quattroporte; 4. Chevrolet Camaro; 5. Citroen C6; 6. Lincoln Continental; 7. Bentley Continental S1 Fastback; 8. BMW M1; 9. Rolls-Royce Phantom; 10. Sally the Porsche 911 Carrera (from the animated film Cars). .
Super a step toward Buick's Lexus dreams
When Buick grows up, it wants to be Lexus. Or at least the "American Lexus," according to Bob Casparian, product manager for the Buick LaCrosse sedan. To achieve this, Buick is focusing on a premium image. It also helps that only a few weeks ago J.D. Power and Associates reported that Buick tied with Lexus for first in its annual dependability study among car owners. For 2005, LaCrosse replaced the Buick Century and Regal as the midsize, front-wheel-drive sedan offering. For 2006, Lucerne took the place of Park Avenue and LeSabre in the full-size, FWD segment. And the 2008 Enclave crossover bumps the Rendezvous and Rainier sport-utilities and Terraza minivan. .
Scion xB MotorWeek's 'Best'
CHICAGO, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- The boxy Scion xB compact utility vehicle was named the "Best of the Year" by MotorWeek Wednesday at the 100th Chicago Auto Show. Policeman apologises for death of football fan
An Italian policeman accused of killing a football fan on Sunday was placed under formal investigation for manslaughter yesterday. Riots broke out at football grounds across Italy after a highway patrol officer shot Gabriele Sandri, a Lazio fan, at a motorway service station in Tuscany. As magistrates in Arezzo laid charges against the policeman, it emerged that Italian football could be suspended for weeks if a proposal by the Sports minister, Giovanna Melandri, is adopted by football's governing body. Stewards will also be placed in grounds for the first time, and violent fans barred from away matches. The worst unrest, seen on television around the world, occurred outside the Olympic Stadium in Rome, where the night game had been cancelled. Fans angry over the killing of Mr Sandri laid siege to a police barracks, injuring 40 officers inside, and vandalised cars, motorcycles and rubbish bins.
Carolina Place Mall bandits caught on tape 7:04 AM
PINEVILLE, N.C. -- One suspect is behind bars and another is on the run after stealing more than $10,000 worth of clothing from Carolina Place Mall. Investigators say the two could be connected to other crimes in separate states. Imagine this: two suspects go running from the mall with bags of stolen clothes. A witness told me the suspects ran into a mini van, stashed their bags, and then calmly walked back into the mall as if nothing had happened. Surveillance video shows the two suspects running through the parking to their mini-van. "The guy was literally running I mean he was getting it across the parking lot," said Chrystal Helms, witness. Helms says she was shocked to see what looked like a thief making an escape, but she couldn't believe what he did next.
Harewood keeps Barbados plans on the backburner
Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood is to reject the chance to play World Cup football for Barbados at this stage of his career. Barbados coach Eyre Sealy has spotted that the 27-year-old striker was born on the Caribbean island and was planning to call him up for the two-legged qualifier with Dominica. But Harewood is concentrating on his football in England with Villa although he admitted he may consider playing for Barbados at a later date. The former West Ham striker said: 'My whole family are Barbadian but playing for Barbados hadn't really crossed my mind. 'Truthfully my dad used to say 'don't go back to Barbados because it's not as good as playing for England.' 'Probably later on, maybe in another couple of years, I'll consider playing for them but not at this moment.
